Job description

CarePoint Neurosurgery and Spine is seeking a board certified endovascular neurosurgeon to join a world-class neurovascular practice in Denver, Colorado, supporting the programs at HCA HealthONE Swedish, Sky Ridge, and Aurora. These facilities form one of the busiest neurovascular programs in the country, with over 1100 annual cases, including 180+ aneurysm treatments, 200+ arterial stroke thrombectomies, 120+ middle meningeal artery embolizations, and 430+ diagnostic angiograms. This position will support open neurovascular, neuro endovascular, and general neurosurgery coverage at these facilities. In addition, the surgeon will have a general neurosurgery elective practice, including spine, which can be completely tailored to the surgeon's personal interests over time.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship training in neurointerventional surgery
• Experience performing open surgical cases including aneurysm clipping, AVM resection, decompressive craniotomy, tumor resection, ACDF, and lumbar spinal fusion
• 2+ years in practice

Facilities

HCA HealthONE Swedish, Sky Ridge, and Aurora are level I and II trauma centers, with Swedish being the first Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center in the state of Colorado. These facilities provide state of the art equipment, including Siemens Icono Biplanes, Zeiss Kinevo and Leica OH6 microscopes, Karl Storz and Aesculap neuroendoscopes, Medtronic Stealth Navigation and O-arms, multiple surgical robots including Mazor, Globus Excelsius, and ROSA, and Gamma Knife and LINAC stereotactic radiosurgery.

Compensation and Benefits

• Income guarantee of $900,000+ for the first one or two years, with production-based reimbursement thereafter that should exceed $1-1.2 million annually based on volume
• Sign on bonus and relocation assistance
