Job summary

Texas Health Resources actively seeks a Certified Surgical Technician for Endovascular at the Plano location. This full-time day shift role supports peri-operative patient care for diverse populations and collaborates with RN circulators to ensure safety and quality.

Required CST/TS-C certification (or equivalent) on hire, plus related training or LVN background. Strong communication, confidentiality, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior practice in a health care facility before 9/1/2009 preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or military/surgical tech training required.
• 2 years of surgical service experience in robotics, cardiovascular, orthopedic or neurology with 150+ cases; Endovascular experience preferred.
• CST or TS-C certification on hire required; existing licensed nurses may apply.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Preoperatively assists the RN circulator in planning care.
• Prepare and organize the operating room.
• Provide peri-operative care for diverse patient populations.
• Coordinate patient care peri-operatively as needed.
• Maintain professional standards and post-operative instrument care.
• Assist RN circulators with post-operative duties under supervision.
