Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks a Certified Cardiovascular Tech for the Cath lab to scrub and monitor during invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. ARRT-R and RCIS required; ACLS within 30 days; BCLS; 34.50–38.25/hour.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license and RCIS required by state.
• Previous cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis on invasive cardiology preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures or monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during cardiovascular procedures.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared and stocked for the case.
• Monitor par level of instruments and supplies.
• Participate in department staff meetings and performance improvement activities; train new staff.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
