Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN required for Magnet facilities.
• RN license in state of practice and BLS certification required.
• 1 year RN experience or 2 years LPN in acute care; leadership ability preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff, coordinate patient care and implement protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the unit’s care, assess plans and delegate tasks to licensed staff.
• Assist surgical teams during endoscopic procedures and educate patients.
• Promote evidence-based nursing protocols and quality initiatives.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and resource allocation for patient care.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and ensure safety.
