Job summary

Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter (MMC) is seeking an Endoscopy Technologist to provide clinical and procedural support for the endoscopy team. You will assist physicians, prepare rooms, and help maintain endoscopy equipment to ensure patient safety and a positive experience.

Relevant candidates have a background in GI or procedural settings, with a strong focus on infection prevention, safety, and teamwork in a busy medical practice environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year of experience in a GI, surgical, or procedural setting preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, AAMI, and AORN standards for sterilization and disinfection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and clinical team during endoscopy procedures by preparing rooms and supplying equipment.
• Handle and process endoscopy instruments, maintain equipment, and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform room turnover and terminal cleaning between cases and at end of day.
• Maintain documentation related to equipment processing and sterilization.
