Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth is seeking an Endoscopy Technician - PRN to help provide safe, effective GI and endoscopy procedures. You will prepare rooms and equipment, maintain a clean environment, and support physicians and nurses during procedures.

Qualifications

One year of endoscopy experience required.
BLS certification from an approved vendor.
SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked.
Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself.
Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices.
Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety.
Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care.
