Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Support Technician in Bradenton, FL to assist nurses during endoscopic procedures and help maintain instruments and supplies. The role includes patient transport and supervision with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, surgical/endoscopy experience or certification, BLS certification, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Surgical certification or 2 years of Endoscopy or surgical related experience.
• BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing nursing care to patients undergoing Endoscopic procedures.
• Performs assistive duties and assists in maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assists in preparation, transportation and supervision of patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
