Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a nursing assistant to support patients undergoing Endoscopic procedures. You will assist with nursing care, prepare and transport patients, and help maintain instruments and supplies under supervision.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, surgical/endoscopy experience, and BLS training or the ability to obtain it within 90 days. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential in this patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Surgical certification or 2 years of Endoscopy or surgical related experience.
• Training: BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing nursing care to the patient undergoing an Endoscopic procedure.
• Performs assistive duties, assists in the maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assists in the preparation, transportation and supervision of patients.
• Other duties as assigned.
