Job summary

Brunswick Endoscopy Center is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support a skilled procedural team in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will assist with colonoscopies, EGDs and related procedures, prep rooms and equipment, and ensure infection control through proper cleaning and disinfection.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, with two years of endoscopy experience preferred and certification desired within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years endoscopy experience preferred.
• Endoscopy Technician Certification preferred; certification within one year of hire preferred.
• Knowledge to tailor care to patient age and needs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies).
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment and supplies for efficient patient care.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopic equipment per infection control standards.
• Perform leak testing and high-level disinfection; store endoscopes properly.
