Job summary

SEO HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O’Fallon, IL seeks an Endoscopy Technician I. You will prepare and maintain endoscopic instruments, ensure safety checks, assist physicians and nurses, and support ambulatory surgery center operations.

Part-time 20 hours per week, days schedule; must have a High School diploma, 1 year healthcare experience preferred, and BLS certification required. Education assistance, PTO, and health benefits are available to eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year healthcare experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Nursing Assistant certification, CMA, or National Registry EMT (EMT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain endoscopic instruments, equipment and sterile setup according to manufacturer recommendations and facility standards.
• Provide safety checks to verify proper equipment functioning, assist physicians and nurses, and participate in in-service training related to equipment.
