Job summary

Baylor Medical Center in Pflugerville, TX seeks an Endoscopy Technician I to assist with procedures under RN supervision, ensure patient comfort, and help with equipment prep and transport.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, observing patients, and supporting the endoscopy team throughout daily shifts. Requires HS diploma and BLS certification; benefits available after eligibility. This is a full-time days role at Baylor Medical Center.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains Endoscopy equipment safely according to policies.
• Assists physician and clinical staff during procedures requiring aseptic techniques.
• Transports carts as needed and prepares patient for exams or procedures.
• Observes patients for changes in condition and seeks supervision when needed.
• Cleans and disinfects room and equipment after procedures; restocks supplies.
