Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to support operations in the endoscopic setting. Under supervision, you will assist with room setup, transport of patients, equipment testing, and handling instruments during procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment readiness, and collaboration with surgeons and staff. Onsite work location is 81 Highland Avenue with a standard 40-hour week and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have Endoscopy Tech experience, 1–2 years preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills required.
• Ability to read and understand work-related documents and procedures.
• Attention to detail and meticulous approach expected.
• Basic understanding of endoscopy procedures and related concepts.
• Good listening and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with endoscopy equipment and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates/handles equipment properly during Endoscopic procedures.
• Assists in prepping room for the next patient.
• Ensures endoscope equipment is functioning correctly.
• Hangs, sets up, troubleshoots and tests endoscopes before procedures.

Job Summary Summary Under supervision, assists in operations in the endoscopic setting. May help set up operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, adjust lights and equipment, pass instruments and other supplies to surgeons and surgeon's assistants, hold retractors, cut sutures, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments during endoscopy procedures. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions

• Operates/handles equipment properly during Endoscopic procedures.
• Assists in prepping room for the next patient.
• Assures endoscope equipment is in working order
• Hangs, sets up, troubleshoots and tests the function of the endoscopes (suction, air/water, irrigation, etc.) before the procedures begin.

Qualifications

Experience Endoscopy Tech experience 1-2 years preferred
