Job summary

South Georgia Medical Center is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist in all endoscopic procedures, help with patient preparation and recovery, and maintain equipment used by the Endoscopy Center staff. The role requires reliability, clear communication with patients and team, and flexibility to cover multiple campuses as needed.

The position is full-time at Smith Northview Campus within the SNH GI Lab, with a schedule of 0700-1730 and participation in call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Experience as Endoscopic Technician or Scrub Technician preferred.
• Endoscopy Technician certification preferred.
• Ability to read/write, perform simple calculations, and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all endoscopic procedures performed by Endoscopy Center staff.
• Assists in preparation and recovery of patients undergoing procedures.
• Maintains all equipment used by Endoscopy Center staff.
• May be required to work across multiple campuses and support SNH GI Lab goals.
