Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Registered Nurse - Endoscopy to provide professional nursing care, assess patient conditions, and collaborate with the team on unit goals. The role is full time with hours 7a–7p and call requirements, including days, nights, and holidays.

Required education includes an associate degree in nursing with BSN within five years. IL RN licensure, CPR (BLS), ACLS and PALS within 90 days are expected, with endoscopy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN required within 5 years from start date).
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS within ninety days of start date into position.
• PALS within ninety days of start date into position.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

What You Will Do

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. What You Need

Education

• Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

License/Certification

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

Experience

• Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
