Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current certifications as CNA, CRCST, CER or CST preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA required.
• Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and related equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support before, during and after endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physician during endoscopy as allowed by standards and law.
• Clean endoscope after procedure and expedite room turnover.
• Maintain endoscopic equipment and supply inventory.
• Perform basic patient care and some diagnostic tests.
