Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support physicians during procedures and ensure the cleanliness, disinfection, and maintenance of endoscopes and related equipment. The role requires a high school diploma and a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Endoscopy experience and certifications (CER/CFER/CBSPD) are preferred. You will work in a hospital setting, travel between facilities as needed, and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Experience with endoscopic procedures preferred.
• CER/CBSPD/CFER certifications preferred within 2 years of hire or transfer.
• Proficient with computers, software, and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians during procedures.
• Ensures endoscopes are cleaned, disinfected, and maintained with quality control.
• Maintains all endoscopy equipment.
• Maintains ongoing professional knowledge and adapts to changes.
• Performs other related duties as required.
