Job summary

Pinnacle GI Partners is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join our teams at Troy and Macomb, MI surgery centers. The ideal candidate values teamwork, compassionate care and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

We welcome candidates with relevant medical experience and provide training. Schedule runs 6 am–3 pm, Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends. Competitive pay, PTO, holidays, and 401k with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework desirable.
• Previous experience as Endoscopy Technician, Medical Assistant or Nurse Assistant preferred.
• Experience in hospital/surgical or ASC setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of endoscopes and accessories.
• Working knowledge of basic anatomy of video scopes and how they are used and operated.
• Prepares equipment for scheduled procedures and maintains quality equipment.
• Transports soiled equipment to decontamination area and restocks supplies.
• Adheres to Universal Precautions during cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes and accessories.
• Assists with patient care under the direct supervision of an RN.
