Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our team. This role plays a key part in both patient care and procedural support within the Endoscopy Unit. Core responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, assisting with patient care, cleaning scopes, and maintaining inventory and supplies.
Job Description:

Position: Endoscopy Technician (CNA)

Location: Alfond Center for Health, Augusta
Schedule: Part-time (32 hours/week)

Shift: Days (7:30 - 4:00)

What You'll Do:

  • Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
  • Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
  • Works closely with Doctors and RN’s in procedure rooms.
  • Greets patients and visitors.
  • Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
  • Assists with keeping unit and procedure rooms stocked, clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Assisting with the admission and discharge process of patients.

  • Active State of Maine CNA certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and technical support skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
