The role you’ll contribute:

Under supervision, the Endoscopy Technician - Advanced Practice is the primary assistant to the physician performing the procedure. They possess the knowledge and skills for assisting the physician on advanced endoscopic procedures for patients with complex digestive health issues with minimal direction. The Endoscopy Technician - Advanced Practice participates in patient care in the Endoscopy procedure room by performing technical and delegated duties. They train peers, maintain, care for, and disinfect all scopes and equipment. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and all relevant regulations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Assists the physician in performing advanced endoscopic procedures on high acuity patients, including but not limited to: Grade III Complex ERCP procedures, SPYGlass (cholangioscopy), complex endomucosal resection, Sphincter of Oddi manometry, pancreatic endotherapy (stenting), Ultrasound-guided interventions, Peroral endoscopic myotomy procedures, double balloon enteroscopies.
