Inova Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician 1 for a full-time day shift at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. The role includes on-call weekends and requires supporting the procedural team during endoscopy cases in a high-quality patient care environment.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to perioperative plans. A High School diploma or equivalent and BLS certification are required at start; licensure is not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physician and procedural team with endoscopy procedures, applying anatomical knowledge and required skills.
• Support circulating nurse by implementing the perioperative plan, patient positioning, updating physician preference cards, handling specimens and room turnover.
• Identify age-related factors to consider during surgery.
• Assist with pulling cases, check case carts for completeness, obtain supplies and ensure equipment is functional before a case.
• Prepare the endoscopy room by opening supplies, instruments, and devices according to scheduled procedure and physician preference.

Inova Fair oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Technician 1 to join the team. This role will be Full-Time Day Shift - Four Shifts Per Week 7:00AM to 5:30PM ( 10 Hour Shifts) with on call weekends Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Job Responsibilities:

• Performs and/or provides assistance to the physician and procedural team that reflect an awareness of anatomy, necessary principles, skills, supplies, and adequate knowledge base.
• Assists the circulating nurse in implementing the perioperative plan of care to include: patient positioning, updating physician preference cards, care of endoscopic specimens, and room turnover.
• Identifies factors relative to the patient's age and developmental stage that must be considered during the surgical procedure.
• Assists with pulling cases and checks case carts for completeness; Obtains supplies and equipment and determines them to be in good working order before a case begins.
• Prepares the endoscopy room by opening supplies, instruments, and devices based on scheduled procedure and physician preference card.

• Certification - Basic Life Support upon start from AHA
• Education - High School diploma or equivalent
