Job summary

Huron Gastro Endoscopy Center in Ypsilanti is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support physicians during GI procedures, manage instruments, and maintain sterile technique. This full-time role focuses on patient-centered care in a fast-paced gastroenterology setting.

The position expects a high school diploma, certified medical assistant credentials preferred, and CPR/BLS certification. Prior endoscopy experience is advantageous, with a team-oriented environment and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
• Prior GI or endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and care for medical instruments.
• Set-up and maintenance of endoscopy equipment.
• Sterilize equipment according to protocol.
• Assist physicians and nurses during procedures.
• Provide positive patient interaction and communication.
