Medical City Denton is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support GI and endoscopy procedures. You will prepare rooms and equipment, ensure cleanliness, and assist the care team to protect patients and enable caregivers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, handling instruments, maintaining safety records, and communicating with patients with compassion. This role requires BLS certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Competenze

• BLS certification required by AHA or ARC.
• Experience in healthcare or endoscopy environments preferred.
• Ability to prepare rooms and assist during procedures.

• Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify working order, and stock supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and safe transport.
• Support physicians and nurses during procedures, handle instruments, and collect specimens.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well-organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked
• Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself
• Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety
• Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care

What qualifications you will need:

• Licensure/certification/registration:
• BLS required by AHA or ARC.
• 1 + year(s) of experience required
