The Endoscopy Technician opportunity at HCA HealthONE Aurora involves assisting GI and endoscopy procedures, preparing rooms and endoscopy equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized environment to protect patients and support caregivers.

As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well-organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.
This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Aurora of optimizing quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting the medical and nursing staffs in providing care to the endoscopy patient. The endoscopy technician is also responsible for care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EMT or Paramedic Certification preferred. BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
Special Qualifications: Knowledge of basic clinical practices, procedures, and standards. Ability to work closely with physician and Nursing. Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment. Excellent communication skills with all internal and external customers.
