Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support GI and endoscopy procedures in a busy hospital environment. You will prepare rooms and equipment, assist during procedures, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout shifts in a full-time daytime schedule.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, proper technique, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality care in a compassionate setting.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized
• Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself
• Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety
• Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care

As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures.
