Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to join the Endoscopy Center at St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with nursing care for a designated patient population in collaboration with the health care team. The role requires adherence to sterile technique, assisting physicians with procedures, handling specimens, evaluating new supplies, and performing high-level disinfection.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Endo experience required.
• Endo tech certification preferred.
• BLS.

Responsibilities

• Applies principles in adhering to sterile technique.
• Assists physician with equipment during procedures.
• Handles specimens according to policies and procedures.
• Participates in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments.
• Chooses correct method and time frame for high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
