Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an Endoscopy Tech at St. Mary Medical Center to support the Endoscopy Center with sterile technique, equipment handling, and specimen management. This part-time role supports three 8-hour day shifts in the Endo Center.

Under RN supervision, you will assist in nursing care for designated patients, participate in evaluating supplies, and ensure high-standard disinfection and sterilization of equipment. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Endo experience required.
• Endo tech certification preferred.
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Applies principles in adhering to sterile technique.
• Assists physician with equipment during procedures.
• Handles specimens according to policies and procedures.
• Participates in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments.
• Chooses correct method and time frame for high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
