Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred graduate of GI/OR Technology program or CNA/MA program.
• Previous experience as Unit Secretary preferred or as CNA/MA.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Previous experience in Endoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician during endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in working order.
• Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Perform clerical duties to support Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy.
• Assemble and maintain patient chart material.
