Job summary

Gateway Endoscopy Center is seeking a PRN Endoscopy Tech to join our outpatient GI center. You will work with a dedicated gastroenterology team, support endoscopy procedures, and help maintain a high standard of patient care in a busy GI lab.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift 25 pounds while delivering excellent service. Previous GI lab experience and an Endoscope reprocessing certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Certification in Endoscope reprocessing is a plus.
• 1–3 years GI Lab experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and handle instruments quickly.
• Must communicate in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist GI team during endoscopy procedures and patient care.
• Ensure sterile processing and reprocessing of endoscopy equipment.
• Maintain inventory and assist with room turnover for a busy GI lab.
• Provide excellent patient and family service and communicate clearly with team.

Gateway Endoscopy Center is looking to add a PRN Endoscopy Tech who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center!

At Gateway Endoscopy Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Certification in Endoscope reprocessing a plus
• One to three years previous experience in GI Lab a plus
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly
• Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy GI lab environment
• Must be able to function as a team player
• Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds
• Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal
