St. Mary Medical Center in Kentucky is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to join the Endo Center team.

You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist physicians during procedures to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. Responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, handling specimens, supporting equipment during procedures, and participating in disinfection and equipment evaluation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Endo experience required.
• Endo tech certification preferred.
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Applies principles in adhering to sterile technique.
• Assists physician with equipment during procedures.
• Handles specimens according to policies and procedures.
• Participates in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments.
• Chooses correct method and time frame for high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
