Job summary

The position emphasizes assisting in endoscopy procedures, equipment handling, specimen management, and participation in evaluating new supplies, maintaining high standards of disinfection, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Endoscopy experience required.
• Endo tech certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Applies sterile technique.
• Assists physician with equipment during procedures.
• Handles specimens per policies and procedures.
• Evaluates new supplies, equipment and instruments.
• Performs high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
