Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to provide critical technical support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

You will prepare, maintain, and sterile-process endoscopy equipment, assist physicians, and prepare rooms while maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting. CPR and high school completion are required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 14 days of hire.
• High school diploma or GED required at hire.

Responsabilités

• Cleans and disinfects endoscopes and accessory equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Documents cleaning/disinfection of all endoscopes on logs.
• Prepares accessory equipment for sterilization and delivers to sterile processing.
• Assesses equipment daily and notifies/edits for repairs as needed to unit leadership.
• Sets up and cleans procedure room, supply carts, and pre/post procedural areas.
• Assists physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by the physician or RN.
