Job summary

Gateway Endoscopy Center in St. Louis is seeking a Full Time Endoscopy Tech to join a busy outpatient GI lab. You will work with highly-trained physicians to support endoscopic procedures and patient care, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, GI lab experience, and strong customer service. Certification in Endoscope reprocessing is a plus; must be team-focused and able to lift 25 pounds. English communication required.

Qualifications

Gateway Endoscopy Center is looking to add a Full Time Endoscopy Tech who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center!

At Gateway Endoscopy Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

While we work collaboratively as a group, each patient is assigned a dedicated gastroenterologist, ensuring personalized care and attention.

Endoscopy Tech at Gateway Endoscopy Center:

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Certification in Endoscope reprocessing a plus
• One to three years previous experience in GI Lab a plus
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly
• Must be conscientious, organized and able to handle the stress of a busy GI lab environment
• Must be able to function as a team player
• Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds
• Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal
