Piedmont Macon Medical in Georgia is seeking an Endoscopy Assistant to support physicians during endoscopic procedures and to help maintain supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department.

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, you will perform clerical duties, assist with patient care in Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy, and ensure chart documentation and station cleanliness. A GED or high school diploma and BLS certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Graduate of GI/OR Technology program Preferred
• Graduate of CNA/MA program Preferred
• No experience required
• Previous experience as Unit Secretary or as CNA/MA Preferred
• Previous experience in Endoscopy Preferred
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Current AHA BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
