Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures.

• Ensure equipment and scopes are cleaned and disinfected properly.
• Provide quality and safe patient care and facilitate patient flow in/out of the procedure room.
• Independently turnover procedure rooms and inspect equipment for proper functioning.
• Obtain vital signs and record findings.

As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for the following:

• in preparing rooms and equipment.
• assists with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment.
• ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.
• Provides quality and safe patient care.
• Facilitates patients in and out of procedure room.
• Independently performs turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning) ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment.
• Obtain vital signs and record findings.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course OrNursing Student with two completed clinical rotations

Experience

• Required: Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant
• Preferred: ACU or Medical/Surgical
• BLS is required

This is a 40 hour/week, day shift position.

Compensation

Pay Range: $22.00 - $29.61

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
