Job summary

Lakeview Endoscopy Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist with patient care during GI/endoscopy procedures. Under supervision, you will help maintain a sanitary environment and ensure sterile handling of equipment and supplies.

You will assist in preparing the unit, handling specimens with the surgeon, and passing specimens to the circulating RN, while supporting the GI team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
• One-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

• Demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
• Prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Tech, under the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse, you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by assisting with the care of patients undergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures.

What you will do in this role:

Lakeview Endoscopy Center is located on the campus of Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. We offer outpatient surgical services in of Gastroenterology. We use some of the most advanced equipment and technology. The center has two procedure rooms, one consultation room, and ten private pre and post-operative areas.
