Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a day shift Endoscopy Tech to join the Advanced Endoscopy Unit at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time role supports procedures, equipment prep, sterilization, and patient transport under supervision.

The candidate should be familiar with medical terminology, have or obtain BLS within six months, and understand microbiology and anatomy. Prior endoscopy equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with medical terminology.
• BLS certification within six months of employment.
• Basic understanding of microbiology, anatomy and physiology.
• Familiar with endoscopy equipment and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician during endoscopy procedures using aseptic technique.
• Ensures set-up of procedure with supplies and equipment.
• Cleans, disinfects and sterilizes all equipment, scopes and instruments.
• Assists nursing personnel with patient care under supervision.
• Restocks supplies in cleaning room, procedure rooms and traveling carts.
• Assists with patient transport as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
• Requires certification in Basic Life Support Provider within six months of employment.
• A basic understanding of concepts of microbiology, human anatomy and physiology is preferred.
• A working knowledge of the following equipment is preferred: fiberoptic and video endoscopy systems, automatic sterilizing systems, blood pressure, cardiac and pulse oximeter monitors, suction and oxygen set-ups, wheelchairs and stretchers and computers.
