Job summary

Kingwood Surgery Center is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to join our team in Humble, TX. You will assist with care for patients undergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures, under the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse.

Responsibilities include maintaining a sanitary patient environment, ensuring proper disinfection of endoscopy equipment, preparing the unit and equipment, cleaning rooms between procedures, and assisting with specimens and labeling for surgeon review with the circulating RN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
• One-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

Job Summary and Qualifications

Humble Kingwood EndoscopyCenter (https://humblekingwoodendoscopy.com/) opened in 2012. The center is located in Humble, Texas. We serve the residents of Humble, Harris County and the surrounding areas. The center provides outpatient endoscopic surgeryservices for improving digestive health. Our center performs over 400 cases a month. Services in EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and colorectal cancer screening procedures are provided.
