Job summary

Paycom in Mississippi is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support the endoscopy team during procedures. The role focuses on patient care and ensuring readiness of rooms and supplies.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, assisting recovery, stocking linens, sanitizing beds and wheelchairs, maintaining clean PACU areas, ensuring hand sanitizing stations are stocked, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients via the use of a wheelchair to the patient pickup area.
• Retrieves patient family members from the waiting area and escorts them to patient recovery room after completion of procedures.
• Maintains soiled linen utility room for cleanliness, including stretcher cleaning and cleaning of the PACU room.
• Stocks procedure rooms with the necessary linens to be used for the next day.
• Sanitize patient beds by cleaning and changing linens after each patient use.
• Sanitize patient wheelchairs on a regular basis.
• Incumbent performs other job-related tasks as assigned and required; any duties/tasks included in the employee's performance evaluation are essential to that employee's position within the job classification.
