Job summary

USPIMemorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking an Endoscopy RN to join our team. We operate 4 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms, performing outpatient procedures across Orthopedics, Podiatry, Pain, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, General, Ophthalmology and Plastic surgery.

The role requires availability Monday through Friday, with some early mornings and late evenings based on the surgical schedule and day flow.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for Endoscopy patients.
• Provide patient care in holding area, Endoscopy suite, and PACU.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and unit cleanliness.
• Assist physicians with Endoscopy procedures per SGNA guidelines.
• Demonstrate understanding of needs across age groups of patients.
• Prepare patients and rooms for Endoscopy procedures.
• Monitor conscious sedation under physician direction and ensure patient safety.
