Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Endoscopy RN for a travel assignment in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The nurse will join a top healthcare client and provide specialized endoscopy care on a 40-hour workweek with dayshift schedules.
The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with 18 months of recent endoscopy experience in acute care. Travel credentials and lodging arrangements are provided.
Qualifications
- Active RN license required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care endoscopy setting.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
Responsibilities
- Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic and psychobiologic needs.
- Provides technical assistance during Endoscopic procedures with safe practices.
- Maintains patient/family contact with courtesy, dignity and privacy.
- Stores, checks, and administers medications per standards.
- Maintains timely nursing records and confidentiality.
- Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admissions and recovery.
