Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Maryland (current).
• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Healthcare Provider CPR and additional specialty certifications on hire.
• One year of registered nurse experience required.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care; strong communication and organization.
• Proficient with computer systems and enhancing patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and update written nursing plans of care for patients.
• Coordinate patient and family involvement with health team members.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments accurately.
• Communicate patient status in medical records and to physicians and nurses.
• Prioritize daily patient assignments and manage multiple priorities.
• Delegate duties to ancillary personnel and monitor care delivery.
• Participate in teaching and discharge planning and quality improvement initiatives.
