Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure and state jurisdiction required
• BCLS certification typically required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care following nursing process and physician orders.
• Coordinate with care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects per standards.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Document care, interventions, and education in the medical record.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
