Job summary

Willamette Valley Medical Center is seeking an Endoscopy RN for a PRN role in McMinnville, Oregon. The RN will prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, start IVs, and assist the care team to ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, and post-procedure recovery guidance. This union position emphasizes reliable attendance and flexible shifts within the Endoscopy team.

Qualifications

• Current state or compact state RN license required.
• Associate degree in Nursing or higher required.
• ACLS/BLS certifications preferred; endoscopy experience strongly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist physicians during procedures.
• Obtain vital signs, start IVs and monitor patients pre- and post-procedure.
• Adhere to the six rights of medication administration.
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations.
• Ensure patient safety and participate in performance improvement.
