Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Registered Nurse to join its health care team in Oregon. The RN will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate with the health care team, and address acute and chronic needs of Health Plan members and patients.

Requirements include a current Oregon RN license, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months, and BLS. Experience in critical care and ambulatory settings is preferred; population care and leadership skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum two (2) years RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care within the last five years.
• Minimum two (2) years in Critical Care within the last five years.
• Oregon RN license; ACLS required at hire; PALS within 6 months of hire; BLS.
• Population care/case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, nursing care using the nursing process for acute and chronic conditions.
• Lead, mentor and collaborate with health care team; ensure quality standards and patient safety.
• Advocate for patients and families, maintain HIPAA compliance and professional ethics.
• Document care accurately and participate in quality improvement and care coordination.
