Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy Team. You will deliver high-quality care in a procedural setting, supporting physicians and collaborating with a skilled team to ensure efficient patient care from pre-procedure through post-procedure phases.

Qualified candidates hold an active FL RN license (or compact license) with BLS certification, nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and Endoscopy experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure; FL RN license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Prior Endoscopy nursing experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Endoscopy patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
