Job summary

Hackensack Endoscopy Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc, seeks a full-time Endoscopy RN to plan, direct and coordinate nursing care for pre-, intra- and post-procedure patients. The role emphasizes patient advocacy and adherence to standards of care within a service-oriented ambulatory setting.

Requirements include a New Jersey RN license, 1+ year Endoscopy experience, and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
• 1+ years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse.
• Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• BLS required. ACLS preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement nursing care for pre-, intra- and post procedure patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the patient visit.
• Coordinate total patient care with other health care team members.
• Function as patient advocate utilizing the Patient's Bill of Rights.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability for one's nursing practice.
