Job summary

IU Health North Endoscopy Unit in Carmel, IN seeks an experienced RN for endoscopy pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care. You will collaborate with endoscopists, anesthesia RNs, and OR staff in a 4-suite unit serving pediatric and adult patients.

The role requires an active RN license in Indiana, ASN or BSN preferred, BLS; some units may require ACLS. Day shifts with on-call coverage are included.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree completed from a nationally accredited program.
• BSN preferred to enhance scope of practice and patient outcomes.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS may be required per unit.
• Other ALS certifications may be required per unit/department policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure nursing support and assessment.
• Assist in intra-procedure scrub and circulating roles.
• Deliver post-procedure recovery and monitoring for pediatric and adult patients.
• Collaborate with endoscopists, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure safe care.
