Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking an Endoscopy Staff RN to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in the endoscopy suite. You will provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for GI patients, assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and administer and monitor moderate sedation.

You will participate in rotating call, perform patient assessment and education, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and uphold infection control and safety

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for GI patients in the endoscopy suite.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation.
• Perform patient assessment, education, and accurate EMR documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Participate in rotating call to support urgent and emergent procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in continuous learning and quality improvement.
