Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across a defined patient group. The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care, following established standards and ensuring accurate documentation and safe equipment operation.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and has endoscopy experience or minimum ICU/PACU/ER experience. Call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Endoscopy experience or two years minimum in ICU, PACU, or ER.
• Must take call.

Responsibilities

• Assume accountability for providing patient-centered nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care with a holistic approach across patient needs.
• Follow established standards, policies and procedures in administering care.
• Perform ongoing assessments and document accurately.
• Educate peers, patients, and families and support service excellence.

Education
