Job summary

Mercy Hospital St Louis GI Lab is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support GI procedures in a fast-paced lab environment. You will provide nursing care for outpatient and inpatient populations undergoing colonoscopies and endoscopies, under the supervision of the GI team.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, MO or compact licensure, and BLS certification; BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year RN experience required. Monday–Friday hours based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: RN in MO or compact; maintain nurse licensure requirements.
• Certifications: BLS through American Heart Association.
• Experience: at least 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care provided by the team.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
